23 weeks and I can NOT breathe

by Mandy on September 25, 2009

I may not look that big in the picture…or maybe I do…but either way…I feel HUGE. I think it’s because I am having the hardest time breathing. Either this baby is pushing on my lungs or I am not breathing right.

23 weeksI can be having a normal conversation with someone and feel like I just ran a marathon.

You know how you feel right after you eat Christmas dinner? I feel like that EVERYDAY ALL DAY!

I have officially gained 15 lbs. Don’t expect to get frequent updates on my weight gain. I felt like sharing today, but in a few weeks…that may be information that I don’t want to share. haha!

I am actually just now about 3lbs heavier then I was when I began my pregnancy with P Man…so I guess it’s not all that bad. I weighed a lot less when I started this pregnancy. I am just hoping the weight gain does not get out of control!

Other than feeling fat and not breathing…all else is good. Baby Bentley is moving around like a rock star and J was able to feel him for the first time a few nights ago. He must have been having a party in my belly because it was constant kicking.

Still feeling blessed!

You look great girl!!! Okay so the same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with Brody and it started out earl.. I couldn’t breathe either, it was like I could never take or get a good deep breath, it was awful.. my dr said it was like anxiety because I wasn’t big enough/or the baby to be causing it just yet.. it was awful tho!!! Hope ya feel better soon!!

I’m just glad u r getting big now and can see the baby in the belly! Guess I’ll have to check the blog to find out weight gain since u really don’t want to disclose that to even me! How can u feel fat when u look so little and cute? I want Bentley to get big and be your Big Bear of a guy this time! Can’t wait! He’s going to be rocking when he gets here for sure! Love ya! J.B.

I can’t even imagine how terrible that must feel. I hope it improves though. I’ve always imagined pregnancy exactly as you described, feeling super full.

You look fahhhbulous, dahhling! And I have a feeling you’ve got the weight gain under control. I just can’t see you letting it over-take you and the baby. A final comment… great to see you smiling so big as you watch your body change and welcome this new little family member! Your enthusiasm is positively radiant!

If you wanna see huge…head on over to my blog. I just turned 26 weeks and Blake had a huge growth spurt I think. My belly looks ginormous! Glad you are feeling good, other than the not breathing part. I felt that way with Addie and it was because I was carrying her high (so my doc said). Hope you feel better soon! You look great as always!
