Don’t look so surprised buddy. You knew it was coming.
It seems as if these past 9 weeks have FLOWN by…it’s true…I only have 3 more weeks left of maternity leave.
Tear.
Pretty soon all of this “mommy and me” time will have to end and mommy will have to go to work.
I have mixed emotions about returning. I actually love my job. I especially love the people I work with.
It’s been nice to have a break, but I think I am ready to return to a normal routine.
Gigi will have her hands full with BOTH boys! Phew!
TAKE MY WORD. It is harder to stay at home with the boys than it is to work. At home…you get NO break. I am definitely not a SAHM type. I respect all of those moms out there that are! Man…HARDEST JOB IN THE WORLD! You hear that husbands?
I have enjoyed this time with my new little man (and with the P man of course), but it’s been challenging! I am just hoping that Bents will start to sleep through the night. Going to work on no sleep is not exactly exciting. I guess I’ll be hitting up Starbucks frequently.
I do actually look forward to my days consisting of conference calls and meetings instead of spit up and poop. I can’t lie. I don’t like poop.
It will be an adjustment for me though. I’m praying for a smooth transition and LOTS of caffeine.

I’m totally there with ya girl. I think it is so much harder to stay home than go to work, especially when you love your job – that really makes a difference! Hopefully B will be sleeping through the night by then – sounds like you’re making progress!

I know it honey…being a SAHM isn’t easy!! But it sure is fun 🙂 I am praying your transition back to work goes well and that Bents AND Blake both start sleeping the night. I am sick of covering up these bags under my eyes!! P.S. You look fantastic honey…as always 🙂

It’s so refreshing to meet another working mom… I also enjoy my job and although sometimes guilt creeps in and makes me question my decision… I know I made the best decision for me and my family… and that’s really all anyone could ask for…
I will be praying that your transition will be a smooth one…

Lol! I feel the same way! I enjoyed my 3 month maternity leave but I need adult conversation! Enjoy the rest of your time off!
