I love that even though I’m on vacation I still have wonderful people who will take pics of the basement progress so I don’t feel left out!!
This was yesterday…day 2 on the project. I am thinking by now the entire basement is dug. I am beyond thrilled to see the progress! And I think it’s hilarious that I would be this excited over a big muddy hole. 
Had dinner with my Aunt Sue, Crazy Uncle Ron, and cousin Robbie last night! They live here in SD (lucky).
We are heading to L.A. today to see some of J’s old hang-outs and to meet up with his bf, Steve-O! So far this trip has been amazing! I wonder how I live in Illinois when there is places like California?!

I heard a really cool tip that may be fun for you. Stand in the exact same place and take a 5 sec video clip once a week. When your house is finished you can watch it being built anytime you would like. I guess you could do it with photos as well.

Oh, that is really fun! I love our basement (when it’s dry). Glad it’s coming along, I bet that is a great feeling!
