It has taken Bents some time to start talking. But he really is starting to repeat anything you ask him to. I love that he can say more than “uh uh” finally!
Bents does know how to talk after all.

anna´s last [type] ..Anna’s Morning Juice
Mando…you do not need to worry AT ALL!!!!! When Addie was Bents and Blake’s age, she was saying like 10 words…all of which were the ones Bents and Blake are saying now. I worried and worried about it because it seemed like every other almost-2-year-old was talking and she wasn’t. And she was always incredibly advanced for her age (she was in 100th percentile for height/weight and she could sit up at 4 months and crawl by 6). I thought my gosh…she will be talking before her first birthday! But she didn’t. She didn’t really start picking up her vocabulary until a little after her second birthday and both my pedi and a speech therapist said that she was fine. And sure enough…I can’t get the girl to STOP talking now
Blake has the SAME vocab as Bents right now and I am totally not worried about it. These boys will be talking our ears off before we know it

I am so happy to hear of another late-ish talker. Kirsten has gone through phases where she says more words, but then she stops. I know she understands TONS, just doesn’t seem to want to talk very much yet. Sometimes it’s hard reading other blogs about how much little ones are talking!
Anyhow…yay for Bents! Such a cutie, as always.
