I can hardly believe that on 1-11-11 my little man is going to be 1! Not to mention I love the irony of all the 1’s. 🙂
I have had a lot of questions from friends and family about “what to get him”. Especially since it was just Christmas and him and P have just about everything known to man!
I decided to put together a list of things that he may like. There really is all different price ranges, but these are just some ideas that he doesn’t have…and I know he would love.
Of course, gift cards or money for his college fund is always good too. If you decide you would rather do that…I promise he would never know! In all honesty, we are trying to add add add to his college fund!
If you are planning to come to his party…please DO NOT feel like you have to bring a gift at all! We would rather you just join us for cake and ice cream and nix the gift all together! But, for those of you who will not follow those rules of mine…here are a few ideas.
Walk With Me Baby Walker Wagon
Kids Safety Trampoline with handle
This cute Leap Frog Learn and Groove Animal Sounds Guitar!
Melissa & Doug Vehicles Chunky Wooden Puzzle or any Melissa & Doug chunky puzzle!
Melissa & Doug Shape Sorting Cube
Just a few ideas. I had a few of you tell me you were going to go in on a gift with others so that is why I put a couple of them on there.
Again, the most important thing is that you join us to celebrate!! Hope to see you next Saturday!

I agree with you on this one. Buying for a one year old is difficult enough, especially just after Christmas. It’s almost impossible to say “No gifts” because how can you deny, especially the grandparents, doing what they love most….spoiling our children. But I do love the college fund/ savings account idea! Some people might think it’s different, but I also LOVE the idea of giving to a child in need in your child’s name too! I would truly be touched by such a gift, although I know that might be wishful thinking! I know I’m leaving you a paragraph on this one, but it’s something I have strong feelings about! 🙂
I’m sure Bents will have a wonderful birthday full of love and happiness!! Have fun!!

Our nephew got that trampoline for Christmas and he is obsessed!! I think P and Bents would like that!
