Christmas has begun…

I’m sure it’s no surprise to you (after reading my tweets)…

WE HAVE PUT THE CHRISTMAS TREE UP and I COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED!

I am all about decorating EARLY this year. Last year I barely enjoyed the holidays because we were in the middle of moving. So this year, by golly, I was not about to waste a minute!

I’m making up for last year. Or at least that was my excuse to my husband when he asked me if I had lost my marbles.

I’ve had the mini tree up…for over 3 weeks. EEEKS! I may have very possibly lost my marbles.

We got a new tree this year since our ceilings are taller and can handle a taller tree. I will say this…it did not go up without fight.

Of course, P thought he was “SOOO HEPWUL”. Not. so.much.there.P.Man. I think daddy almost tripped over you a jillion times.

You were quite his shadow.

We spent nearly 2 hours trying to figure out why 3 of the branches weren’t lit. Yea, I kinda hate the christmas lights part of it all. But, I insisted on a pre-lit tree.

And once we got it working…it was just what I wanted. No complaints from that point forward.

I adore my new ornament sayings: “Peace on Earth”, “Lord of All”, “Christ is born”, and “Joy to the World”.

I even started setting out the decorations! Christmas is in full swing at House of Rose.

I do kind of regret busting out Sofie..our Elf on the Shelf. It’s a little early for him. Two months of hiding him every night is A LOT to remember! But, P is FULLY OBSESSED with him. Although, he totally violates the “no touch” rule.

I can’t wait until December. At least then…when people come over they won’t think I am crazy for having my Christmas stuff out!
