From proud to embarrassed.

In case you don’t follow me on twitter…I MUST disclose a very funny (yet embarrassing) story that took place over the weekend.

You see…our innocent and sweet little 2 year old…(you know who I’m talking about right? Just checking.)…decided that he was going to completely and utterly embarrass the heck out of his parents at dinner.

Let me just say that we started the day off swell! It was daddy’s first annual client appreciation event. Him and his business partners rented the movie theater and invited all their clients to come and watch The Elf. It was P’s first movie experience. Let me just say…HE DID AMAZING! He sat through nearly the ENTIRE movie without a peep! I was so proud! IMG_7821

Too bad my proud mommy moment was about to come to a crashing hault within that same 24 hour period.

ahem.

You see…this sweet and innocent 2 year old that did SO WELL at the movie…yea the one below in his cute lil pull-up and daddy’s hat (again)…

IMG_7812…decided he was going to make me want to crawl under the dinner table at Applebee’s later that day.

Applebee’s was quite packed. Lots of people.

Luckily were were at a table in the back corner. I say luckily because P was being VERY vocal. Usually vocal is ok.

Until you realize that your sweet and innocent 2 year old is standing up in his high chair….yelling “F*** OFF” at the top of his lungs…six times in a row.

ahem.

Yea. Not my proudest mommy moment. Not so much.

OMG it must be the season. My sweet little almost 2 year old, December 28th, said “Oh Sh!t” in this context a week ago. We are in the sunroom reading magazines, my husband comes in and says “Do you want Daddy to rough you up?” She looks at me and says “Oh Sh!t” not once but three times. I am laughing with you not at you–what will she think of next?

Not “P”. Can’t be true. I wish you’d quit telling stories on that precious, perfect little angel! ;-) You know I’m not gonna believe them. {and never fear; we’ve all been there in some shape or fashion. just be glad it wasn’t Sunday School – haha}
