Welcome to our lovely home where we constantly have naked children running around.
Ahem.
Hey, laundry is not my favorite past-time. If you have boys then you know that…clothes…are optional until you are five.
I try to keep my house fairly picked up and clean. You know, just in case you were to pop in and say hello. But, my kids? I can’t always promise you they are “visitor ready”. In fact, they will most likely need 3 minutes to throw on some pants.

We built our home in 2010 and ever since…I’ve had my dad working on a constant Pinterest project. Pinterest…the devil. Ha!
Lucky for us, he is free labor. I wouldn’t have been able to do HALF of the stuff in our home if it weren’t for his free labor.
Free labor and my bargain shopping skills. Holla!

I have the same comforter…they still have it! I just bought it a few months ago and saw it there just a couple weeks ago as well.

Benjamin Moore Gray Owl OC-52 is the gray! I just used a basic white paint from Lowes.

Thanks! The playroom accent wall (dark brown color) is Bittersweet Chocolate by Behr {Home Depot}. The living room color is called Hot Stone by Valspar {Lowes}. The dark dining room wall is Mark Twain Gray Brick 4005-2C by Valspar {Lowes}. Hope that helps! My favorite is the Bittersweet Chocolate!

I couldn’t find it on Ashley’s website. But Pilgrim furniture has onevery similar to it. The style name is Kensington. My husband and I just bought it this weekend!

The lighter color in the master is called Lambs Ear by Valspar {Lowes}. The dark brown is called Bittersweet Chocolate by Behr {Home Depot}.

Thanks so much! It is a king and the color is not black (although it basically looks black). It was suppose to be a deep brown, but it definitely looks black…even in person. We got our bedroom set at Ashley Furniture.

I would by no means call myself a paint expert

Wow! Thank you very much! I got the comforter over 9 months ago so I am not sure they would still have it. I always get my pillows at Home Goods or TJ Maxx! Throw pillows can be so overpriced so I wait for good deals.

It was not. I actually ordered it from the photographer that took it for us. It’s a 40×60 canvas and I know you can order them online.

The curtains are a very dark brown (almost the same as the wall) and I got them at Pier 1. The corner shelves were built by my dad. Thanks for your compliments on my bedroom!

Thank you! We bought it over 8 years ago so I really couldn’t tell you the style name. My guess is they don’t have the same one anymore, but I am sure you can find something similar. It’s “sleigh” style, if that helps.
The Ashley website directed me to the Pilgrim furnature store who had a bed very similar to yours. We’ve been looking for months. So we bought it yesterday! So excited! Glad I found your blog on pinterest!

I wonder how many times someone can ask you what your MBR wall color is…haha! anyway…I love the kitchen. What color are your cabinets and where did you get them…Ive been thinking about going dark and it really does look great in a large space!
They are like a dark expresso color! Can’t remember the brand, but I will look in my home binder.
