Play date with Braden and the flu bug

Well, today has been a “not so good” kind of day. I officially have the flu! The bad kind of flu where you can’t do anything.

Unfortunately the weather is beautiful. Just where I want to be in bed when it is 70 degrees and sunny. But, what can you do right? Daddy and P have spent all day together having some “boy time”. They went to the park and played outside the majority of the day. I must admit, I was thoroughly jealous of all the attention daddy was getting.

Plus, we are missing my BF Nina’s little sister’s 21st birthday bbq! And a girl from my church was having a baby shower today. Why is it that when you have so many things to look forward to…you feel like crap?

I never had the chance to post these pictures of P and Braden (my college roommate’s lil guy). We got together last Saturday for dinner and a play date. The boys had a great time destroying the living room. Check it out!

We only have a hundred different balls at this house, but…you guessed it….they each wanted the ball that the other had.

P was trying to pass out some hugs…but it looks more like he is trying to strangle Braden.

These two are only 8 weeks apart in age so it’s always fun to get them together and let them play. I am sure there will be many more play dates in our future.

Please pray that tomorrow I will be over my sickness. I am ready to spend time with my lil P man and not this king size bed.

Thank goodness for twitterberry because that’s about the only thing that I have to keep me entertained. I finally felt like having hubby bring me the laptop in bed so I could blog…but to be real honest….I’m gonna have to cut this post short…I am starting to feel like I may throw up. Not a pretty mental picture…I know.
