Thanksgiving Day has more than one meaning for House of Rose.
This year…Thanksgiving happens to also be our FIVE year anniversary!
Talk about being thankful…man am I thankful for that day five years ago when I said “I do”.
I have a wonderful husband, an adorable son (and another one on the way), a fantastic family, and good health!
What else could I need? Well, besides a new Coach bag that is. Haha!
No really. I feel so blessed.
My hubby and I originally got married in Vegas.
Yes.
You heard me right. We got married in Vegas.
Don’t fret. It was actually a gorgeous chapel. Not one of those Elvis drive-thru chapels. We got married in the Stratosphere hotel, on the top floor, in the Chapel in the Clouds.
There was no wedding dress. No wedding cake. And definitely no wedding crowd.
Just me and J. His mom and step-dad. My mom and dad. The Reverend. And our designer jeans. That’s it.
But it was perfect! And man am I thankful for that day five years ago.
