I can not even begin to tell you how much fun I had at Blissdom.
I went in to this conference thinking…”What have I got myself in to?”
You do realize that this is a conference full of women, right? There were a few men. But only a few. The majority of the 750 attendees were women.
Any other time that you would EVER get 750 women together…you would expect drama. I hate drama.
But, at Blissdom, that wasn’t the case.
These women were nice. Not just nice, but wonderfully nice.
I felt like, for the first time, I was surrounded by people who “get me” and it felt so good.
I had a chance to meet so many of the women who I have been reading their blogs for years. It was almost surreal.
I have so many ideas that I think my head may literally explode right now. I feel scattered brained because I don’t know which idea to work on first. AHHHHHH.
I started a list. You know me and lists. I got so many inspiring ideas from these women and the speakers.
Did I mention that my awesome and talented roommate Jenn redesigned my header for me while we were there? Loving it. (You may need to refresh your window to see it.)
While I did enjoy every second of my motherhood break…I will say that by Sunday morning I was missing the boys terribly. Let’s just say, 4 days is my limit away from my babies. No longer.
Not to mention that they were being brainwashed by their dad while I was gone.
Ahem.
No worries. I hadn’t been home for over 3 minutes and I already had converted them back to thinking I was the coolest. Phew.
I hope to recap more of Blissdom when my thoughts seem more clear.
