I swear I always waste my good pictures on Instagram. You know what I mean?
You take the sweetest picture of your baby and you think, “Now THAT is gonna be a great picture for my next blog post!”
But, then you suddenly find yourself uploading it to Instagram. Which syncs with Twitter. And also to Facebook.
And there just went your next blog post idea.
Stolen by Instagram.
Dang it!
For the purpose of never wanting to forget these sweet precious moments I am sharing them on the blog ANYWAY. If you follow me on Instagram you can go ahead and give me the ole “not again” eye roll.
I can’t wait to show you all how P’s room turned out!
So far the chalkboard painted wall has only been written on twice and I must say…I didn’t even have to say “Don’t write on the curtains” or “Don’t write on the window” or “Don’t write on the carpet” or “Don’t write on Mr. Giraffe“. Nope, didn’t have to say any of those things.
Although, I will admit, I hide the chalk unless I am supervising. I suggest you do that too if you have a chalkboard wall.
We have {or I should say HAD} baby birds in a small tree by our pool. It was really neat for the boys to watch them go from eggs, to baby birds, to toddler birds {is that what you call a bird that is no longer a baby, but not yet an adult?}
Seriously, I had no idea baby birds grew so fast. The picture on the left was the day after they hatched and the picture on the right was 7 days later.
I bet bird moms would laugh at us human moms when we say “Oh our kids just grow way too fast.” Geez.
Mr. SJ loves to wear my jewelry. It’s about the only thing that keeps him occupied while I am getting ready in the morning. Just give him a necklace and he’s good to go.
However, do not take away said necklace or he will not be so good to go.
The joys of fighting brothers.
*SIGH*
We have some family in town this weekend so we are planning on spending time with our cousins!
We don’t get to see our family too often, especially after my grandma passed, so we are very excited to soak up the weekend with them!

Hi Mandy! I am karenathome but I believe we may already following each other!
Do you have an iPhone? When I use Instagram, it keeps my original picture in my camera roll and also saves my filtered Instagram picture . You can change your settings to do this from the settings app on your iphone. Let me know if you have questions about it.
