Night Out

Not this past weekend, but the weekend before, or maybe it was even the weekend before that  (I know, DELAYED POSTING SYNDROME), J and I went out with a group of people from my work. You would think I would learn that posting an event 2 weeks late is not “blog worthy”…but…in my mommy world…where potty training and cleaning MUST come before blogging…I have been swamped!

So, in hopes that you are still interested in our “night out”, I decided to post some pics.

LiveStrong Bracelets

J and I wore our matching Livestrong bracelets…go ahead…not everyone at once…”awwww”.  haha! I actually spent about a week making fun of him for wearing this yellow bracelet, claiming “that is sooo five years ago”. But, when a girl at work offered a free bracelet to me, I couldn’t resist the chance to be his twin!

Early in the night lil Miss Sadie was with us. She is the granddaughter of a lady in our office and we have all adopted her as the office child! She has quite the personality and always says something to make me laugh!I work with a extremely crazy fun group of people! So, later in the night, things got a little wild.

They got wild. Not me. I stayed sober so I could drive my very wild husband home after too many budweisers.

We hit up the balloon guy and he made us each our very own balloon hat.

Mine was suppose to be a boxer. Personally, I think it looks more like Pluto.  But, either way, what a talented balloon guy, heh? Not that making animals from balloons is a considered a talent. Or maybe it is.

Some of the other balloon hats included: an elephant, a monkey on a palm tree, a stripper on a pole, and a giraffe. I can’t tell you how many times we tried to get a group picture with all of our hats on…but as you can see…it never amounted to us all looking at the camera at once.

I think I probably felt the dumbest…being the fact that I was sober and wearing a dog on my head.

Fun times!
