Somehow we have avoided the ER for the last four years.
Although I am not surprised that Bents was the first of the two boys to take a visit. He is, afterall, our wild man!
Apparently he fell this morning at my mom’s and hit is head on the corner of the doorway. I am almost positive he has done this a number of times in the past (even on my clock), so I am not sure why this time left such a mark! But, he must have hit it JUST right.
When my mom called to tell me that he sliced his head open…I thought I may go in to labor. Yes, I was that worked up and worried. Of course, when your not there and you can’t see how bad it is…it makes you worried.
This is before we saw the ER doc. Doesn’t look so bad with the bandade covering it up. I was a little more calm after being able to hold him and see his boo-boo!
And then it was time to take the bandade off. EEEK! If you know me…me and blood are not that good of friends.
He wasn’t a huge fan of the doc trying to take a look. It was breaking my heart to watch him be held down. And I am pretty sure Gigi and daddy were about to cry to.
But, nothing a little derma-bond couldn’t fix! Luckily, no stitches. Believe it or not, we were in and out of the ER in an hour!
And I didn’t go in to labor! Phew!
I am sure this will be one of MANY more visits to the ER. Let’s all pray Sloane is not as crazy as Bents.
Thank you for all your concerned tweets and facebook messages! I love my social media friends!
