Today we are supporting a local friend and teacher, Lynn Byrnes. Otherwise known as Lynnie!
Lynn is currently in the hospital and NEEDS our prayers as she fights for her life!
She was my kindergarten teacher, P’s pre-k teacher/sub, my baton instructor, my high school pom coach, a friend, and so much more to this community! She is loved by so many people in our town!
She has devoted her life to this community and to so many children in our area! Lynn was a huge supporter of our veterans and so today we are wearing red, white, & blue to show Lynnie that we all support and love her! Hoping that it will inspire others to pray for her!
We love you Lynnie and are praying for a FULL recovery!

Such a sweet tribute. Your household looks like my household this morning. Everyone dressed in red, white, and blue for the lady who supported it the best. Love her so much and definitely hoping and praying for her recovery.

I have my red white and blue on today too! She is a great lady and I have been praying for her. In Kindergarten I brought in my grandfather’s prisoner of war medal and she LOVED it. She asked if I could bring it in every year until I graduated junior high!

I love Mrs. Byrnes. It took me a long time to switch from Mrs. Carneghi but I just can’t call her by her first name! I guess it’s the child in me with my teacher. 🙂 Praying for her. All my class had red, white, and blue today. Yesterday when I explained why we were going to wear it they began kindergarten chatting and ended up singing together “I’m Proud to be an American…” I had to make them stop. The tears were pouring. It was so neat to see how she touched these little lives already! I am blessed to learn from her, teach with her, and have my son learn from her.

Hope your dear friend is doing better! I was wondering where you got that “Family Rules” picture that’s hanging behind you in your picture? I am pretty sure I have to have that!
