I am figuring out wordpress. But, my lordy, it has taken me AWHILE. I was up until 1:00 AM last night just adding my blogroll. I spent an hour trying to figure out to get my blogroll to update when people have new posts. I love how you can see when someone posts something new. I know there is google reader, but it’s just not the same to me.
J thinks I am being ridiculous when I tell him I NEED to have all of my blog friends listed on my blogroll and I NEED it to show me when they have updated their sites. I don’t care what he says. I like it that way. 
So, after searching on how to make it happen (and trust me it’s not like blogger where you can just add a widget and your good to go) I found a wordpress plug in and got it to work…sorta. Right now it is only showing a few of the blogs in update mode. I am hoping it will resolve itself. Does that ever really happen?
I had such a great birthday yesterday! I will do a full recap later, but for now I had to show you a picture of someone who was trying to steal my birthday glory.
P thought the cake was for him…and how can I blame him, I did give him a small cake like that for his birthday. So what’s a mom to do….what any mom would do…give up her cake. I felt bad letting him destroy my mini cake because I got it from my dear friends at Wachovia, but…I couldn’t say no. Plus, I knew I had ice cream cake waiting for me in the freezer.
Tonight is GIRLS NIGHT OUT and J has poker night! P will be getting to spend the night at gigi and papa’s.
Have you all changed my domain in your blogroll? I’m begging…on my hands and knees begging.
