Somebody is getting closer to THIRTY!

I officially have 2 more years before I really get made fun of. Thank goodness, because I still like the fact that I can say I am in my 20’s. My birthday this year was awesome…well besides the fact that I’m another year older.

All of my work friends were too sweet! Not only did they surprise me by serenading me…

they bought me an ice cream cake! My favorite!

I love the people I work with!

My parents were great too! They took me to Red Lobster and had some very nice gifts for me (including another ice cream cake YUMMY!)  Nin knew I would want to celebrate my birthday in style so she brought me a designer cardboard pair of birthday shades!  Very stylin’! She actually had already given me my bday gift a week early because she is terrible at waiting or keeping secrets (which is fine by me)! She got me the Nuptse North Face vest in Brownie and I LOVE IT!!! She gives the best gifts and knows exactly what I like!

I have to admit…the VERY best part of my birthday was when I read J’s hack post and realized…

A. My husband is TOTALLY sweet

B. I love my new blog

AND

C. I’m GOING ON VACATION!!!!!

Now how will I ever top that next year?
