Surviving a storm or having a seance?

The weather here has been terrible. I think we have had more tornado watches/warnings in one week than we had all last year.

I absolutely HATE storms. In fact, I thought this last one may put be in to labor.

That.Is.How.Much.Anxiety.I.Get.

Of course, I am ready to run to the basement the second it starts rainnig hard. My husband, on the other hand, has to be DRAGGED! I think he is finally learning he should just follow my instructions or it could get ugly! Ugly weather AND an unhappy pregnant wife do not make for fun times stuck in the basement without power. I promise.

We have had so much rain that our pool has been on hold for over a week. The next step is to pour the kool deck (concrete), but there is absolutely no chance that they are going to get a concrete truck on our property without getting stuck until it drys up some.

Too bad the liners not in it because we wouldn’t need a hose to fill it up. Yea. That is all from rain!

We’ve done a lot of staying inside lately. Laying around in our jams.

I think this is the stillest I have ever seen Bents. It only lasted approximately 23 seconds before he was off and running again.

I like to call him my little pinball. The energy that kid has is UNBELIEVABLE! No wonder he is such an amazing sleeper.

And P….being P. Funny dude!

I also wanted to share this video with you that my husband insisted on taking during the storm a few days ago. We had been in the basement for over 45 minutes and had just returned upstairs. No power of course. I love that THE only thing my husband can think about…even under tornado warnings…is vlogging. But, I must admit, my favorite line…”I’m not sure if we are trying to survive a storm or do a seance.”
