My poor baby girl….has a VERY swollen eye!
I am pretty sure she got bit by something and she is having an allergic reaction. My last boxer was allergic to EVERYTHING so I am very familiar with this reaction. However, Klaya is 4…and has NEVER had allergies or reactions to bug bites.
She seems so sad. 
She was just sitting on my lap like “mommy help me”.

Her eye even got swollen shut at one point. I gave her some benadryl and it is starting to kick in. I can tell the swelling is going down some. 
I can tell you that this means I will get NO SLEEP tonight until she is better. If it’s not better by the morning we will be heading to the vet asap.

I feel your pain. We’ve had two boxers and I’ll never forget the first time one of them got bit by something outside. Hopefully the benadryl will help and she’s back to normal soon!

Did you ever go to the vet to treat this? what was used. Our 7 year old boxer (Pancho) seems to have the same issue… but we only noticed it when there was an open soar on his lid (probably from scratching so much). But we’ve noticed the swelling spreading to his other eye… any advice?
