Happy Birthday to my dad!!!!
We celebrated tonight at our house and my dad was pretty excited about his birthday gift…a new speaker system for his ipod! 
Actually we were all kind of excited to see how it sounded…so he busted it out. Conveniently he had his ipod in his truck.
Hmmmm. Wonder if he knew what we were getting him? Can’t ever fool that man.
He has the 160 GB ipod.
Yea.
The one where you can hold your entire life on it and STILL not fill it up.
So you can imagine how many songs he had to choose from. I was NOT too thrilled about his first song choose. It was a country one. And let’s just say it had more cuss words than any of Snoop Dog’s tracks. I quickly made him change it before P started dropping the F bomb on us.
Luckily he had some PG songs on his ipod. Phew.
And in fact, he started playing a song that brought back some memories. Memories of our father/daughter dance at my wedding. The song is called “Dance with My Father Again”. I’m sure you’ve heard it.
We decided to share a dance… 
…and we both decided that the empty space between our living room and our kitchen (that we were worried would be “wasted space”)…was a perfect dance floor!
My dad is quite a good slow dancer. He rocks at leading.
I couldn’t resist…I had to post the video.
It was too sweet not to share.
Please ignore me…I’m in my pajamas with no make up. That’s how a mom with 2 kids rocks it on a Wednesday night.

Thanks, for a great Birthday. It doesn’t happen often, but I loved dancing with my “Daughter” again. Last time … same song, your wedding. The “Bose” was pretty DARN good too! Thanks, Dad.
How sweet! I love dancing with my dad and it only seems to happen when we are both at a wedding together. Happy Birthday to your dad.
