I am finally getting the chance to post the rest of our vacation photos! Took me long enough, hey?!
We stayed in the Palmetto Dunes area of Hilton Head, South Carolina. The view from our condo was gorgeous! I was thankful because sometimes it’s hard to tell what you are going to get when you book a condo online. I was more than impressed with the place that we stayed.
I had a great time capturing pictures of the boys playing in the sand and the ocean.
They loved building sandcastles – Bents especially. He’s my “builder” kind of child. Takes after his Poppy. Last week I looked at him and said, “Bents, are you gonna help mommy fix things when Poppy no longer can help us?”
He just looked at me with a huge smile and said, “Fix fings mommy. I fix wots of fings just wike Poppy.”
I’m thinking that’s probably a good thing since daddy’s strength revolves more around business topics. Although, he did just change a lightbulb in my closet for me yesterday. Gotta give the guy some credit.
And I was pretty impressed with his sandcastle building capabilities.
Which apparently wore him out…
P Man was more of my ocean boy! He loved loved loved to be in the water.
He did help Bents build some sandcastles with his “big” shovel {that they fought over}.
Someone remind me to NEVER buy ONE of anything. UGH! Going forward, I need 3 {soon to be 4} of everything.
We were so thankful to have our babysitter, Hannah, with us! The vacation would not have been NEAR as pleasant without her help!
We even got to do a few “date nights” while we were there!
AND film a video for Good Financial Cents…on the beach…by the ocean! BEAUTIFUL!
Jumping waves was by far the highlight of the trip!
Hours upon hours were spent jumping those amazing waves. Again, thankful for Hannah so that she could play on the beach with SJ while daddy and I watched the other two in the ocean.
SJ says he’s ready to go back anytime! Luckily, when Mr. SJ goes back…he will be old enough to jump waves with his brothers!
I think it’s safe to say we all loved vacation and we were not ready to come home.
Tomorrow I will post some of our attempts at a family photo shoot while there. Ha!

HHI is so beautiful. My in-laws go every summer and the hubs and I have even tagged along a couple of times. It’s so peaceful. Looks like you had a great vacation. Such cute pics of your wave-jumpers and sand castle-builders.
