We made it home safe and sound! Thirteen plus hours in the mini made me about swear I would never drive anywhere farther than my local grocery store again. Phew.
Today is exactly what I thought it would be…one big huge adjustment to reality.
Blah!
After having my MIL here for 2 straight weeks and then 7 days of vacation with a babysitter…I woke up this morning with all my motherly duties back on my shoulders. 
It’s a good thing these boys are so cute. Dang.
I’m having a hard time explaining to them that…
” No, you may not play with the Play-Doh on the dining room table.”
“No, you can not leave your toys scattered throughout every room with no plans of picking them up.”
“No, we are not going to eat cookies for breakfast. Lunch. And Dinner.”
“No, you may not sleep in our bed…you must sleep in your own bed.”
“Yes, I realize I told you that you could pee in the ocean, but that does not mean you can pee in our pool.”
“No, you can not stay up until midnight.”
“No, you can not wear your swim trunks to school.”
I envision the next week or so to be a lot of “No, no and no”.

So glad your guys’ vacation was wonderful! It’s so hard to get back into the groove after time away from home! I swear I just adjusted again after going to visit my southern fam in the beginning of JULY! Crazy. But so glad you guys had a good trip! I loved seeing all the pics and can’t wait for a recap.

Hehe this made me giggle! Our biggest challenge the past two nights? Elliana REFUSES to sleep in her crib. She will only sleep in our bed or on the floor with me next to her. OY.
I’m so glad you guys had a great trip! KP has been ridiculously spoiled on our trip thus far and I fear the same thing happening when we go home on Saturday.
