 Welcome to…

A vlogging link up where we talk about something that we are thankful for or something that is making us smile! Find the full details by checking out my vlogging page.

I realize that I am asking you to get behind the camera. And I realize that 99% of you hate that idea, but I promise you…once you do it? It’s so much fun!

I have been seeing all these “31 days” posts {and loving it by-the-way}, but I am wondering why no one committed to 31 days of vlogging? Maybe I should have jumped on that one. Hmmmm. Do you think it’s too late?

This was another busy week for us since we traveled to Texas for a 3 day trip! I keep thinking that life will slow down, but so far, I am pretty good at keeping myself so busy I can barely find time to pee.

Maybe I thrive in chaos…no?

This week I am sharing my favorite video monitor {one that my friend Nina recommended} and an adoption update!

Summer Infant Video Monitor can be found here.

Let’s hear it! What is making you smile this week?

Here is the schedule for the link up going forward!

Glad you & J had a good time on your trip!! Always nice to get away without the kids for a couple of days!! So exciting to hear that you are one step closer in the adoption process…I know every milestone feels like progress! And I think you should totally commit to 31 days of vlogging! :)

Wow!! Congrats on being one step closer toward your adoption! That is so wonderful! Hope it goes smoothly and quickly for you :-)
And we have gone through our share of monitors as well. Although, ours is a Motorola… so far it’s been awesome!

I went to your friend Nina’s blog and couldn’t find the monitor. Which Summer Infant one is it I was just about to purchase a new one on Amazon. Could you share the link? Thanks!

Oh.my.word!! You were a mere 4 hours from me and I didn’t get to see you….. so close, but so far away. ;) HA! Maybe Blissdom will happen and we can finalllyyyy meet up!

Moving on… about your latest vlog….

1.) I’m looking up that monitor right now. We have a pricey Angelcare monitor that has video, sound and the breathing alarm monitor. I HIGHLY recommend it for infants when they’re at a higher risk for SIDS, etc., but now that J is bigger, I’d rather have a monitor w/ better video quality and forgo the breathing alarm. So, my question is this ….. at what age do you stop having a video monitor in their room? J is 15 months, so I hate to spend another $300 on a monitor if I’m going t odo away with it in the next year or so????

2.) Are you still spray tanning?????? I’m fighting this….as to whether I’ll keep it up through winter or not. I’m lazy.

xoxo.

Hope your adoption paperwork gets out without a hitch! And yay for a new monitor. Ours is spotty, but we’re nearly done with it.

Sorry I have been so bad about vlogging lately! But hey…at least my theme fits in a bit. Glad you and J had a nice trip!! No matter the reason…it is ALWAYS nice to get away for a bit :-)

We used a video monitor with Nathan but never did with Logan. I’m not even sure why we didn’t. I still have the regular monitor in there. I don’t think I will ever take it out :) and yay for getting your fingerprints done! One step closer!!

We used a video monitor with Nathan. It wasn’t that great so we never used it with Logan. I still have a regular monitor in there. I will probably never take it out! And yay for fingerprinting! One step closer :)

How funny is it that I am waiting on our replacement video monitor to arrive (today or tom)! It went kaput right before the one year warranty was up so they are shipping me a new one for FREE!

It’s my second Summer video monitor to go out…wish I had sent the first one in before it died. Ours is the model right before your new one. And I loved it until it quit working…
