What is a vlog?

vlog = video blogging

{*THIS IS NOW A MONTHLY LINK UP – Join us the first Wednesday of every month.}

Here’s all you need to do:

1. Film a vlog about…

  • Something you are thankful for
  • Something that has made you happy this week or
  • Something that you are loving this week (could be a product if you want)
  • or a combination of all three!

2. Try to keep your vlog at 2 minutes (this is only a suggestion).

3. Post it on your blog.

  • Somewhere in your written content, let people know that you are participating in the “Stop and Smell the Roses” vlog link up. I will ask that you please link back to my site. OR grab the badge below and embed it in your post (you can find the code on the right sidebar).

 4.  Submit your link to the Stop and Smell the Roses Vlog post for that month.

  • Make sure you don’t forget this step so that people can visit your vlog and leave some comment love.

5. Be sure to come back throughout the day and watch everyone’s vlogs!

Anyone is welcome…this is a great way to get comfortable behind the camera and improve your vlogging skills. Hope to see you there!

  5. I’m so glad I discovered your website… which lead me to your podcasts! I just returned from a 7 hour road trip and I spent the entire drive down to Florida listening to you and your husband chat about all things blogging and it was a fantastic way to pass the time! I just started my own blog,, and I can’t wait to apply some of the things I learned from you both! So excited to “meet” you on here and I’m looking forward seeing more on your blog and hearing more podcasts from Dollars and Roses!
