Can someone please remind me why I am living in Illinois when I could be living in California?
I mean, seriously, SAN DIEGO WAS BEAUTIFUL!
We stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt…and this was the view from our room. It looks like it was cloudy, but I took this pic early in the a.m. I can assure you the sun was shining bright the whole time we were there!
We layed by the pool…and it was the most relaxing thing I have done in months!! It was perfect weather…not too hot…not too cold.
The two tan colored towers in this picture is a view of our hotel from across the water. We went to Coronado one night for dinner.
We had such a great time in San Diego! Our plan is to go back next year and take the kiddos!
I’ll post some pics from dinner with my Uncle and L.A. later.

I know! We live in Indiana, and any time I go to the coast I wish that we lived there. I keep telling my husband that he needs to look for jobs in Hawaii, too!

I totally agree. How did I live in Illinois so long? N and I went to Hilton Head SC and Tybee Island GA and I fell in love with the ocean. I could see myself there someday.

Those types of places are “someday we’re going to have a place here…” types of places. They’re not close to family, friends… all of that fun stuff! Plus, SD? Crazy expensive. And, if we lived in cool places like that? Where would we go to vacation? Oh yeah… all of the 1,000 other places that are cool that we don’t live… Well, whatever. I was just trying to make you feel better about not living there. LOL!

I love San Diego, too! Hubs and I frequently look at each other and wonder why we don’t live there (and then we remember that we need to win the lottery first)! Glad you had fun. You two are such a cute couple
