When you know that your 60-ish something mother-in-law (I can’t reveal her real age – ha!) does 3 zumba classes a day… you might just be intimidated to workout with her in your living room at 6 AM.
Ok, you ARE definitely intimidated to workout with her in your living room.
Granted, I feel like I am in decent shape now that I’ve been doing the 21 Day Fix for awhile, but still… Zumba + 180 minutes? I’ve got nothing on that.
I don’t know that I have ever worked out for 180 minutes a day. Even in my prime. LOL!
Oh and sometimes… after her 3 zumba classes a day? She does kickboxing.
I’m not even making this up. She is hardcore.
I want to be that active when I am her age.
I often wonder how it’s possible for her to be less tired taking care of my kids than I am.
But then I quickly remember… Ohhhh yea, she’s the zumba queen and I am n-o-t.
While she was in town time I introduced her to the 21 Day Fix and she loved it. I guess I should rephrase that and say “SJ and I” introduced her to it.
He was allllll about showing her how to do the moves.

I will say, he doesn’t like to share his yoga mat though.
I’m thinking about trying out the new Cize program next month!! It’s all dance moves…totally my style. I’m pretty sure Grandma Lilly would have killed me on that too though.
Has anyone tried it yet? Anyone want to join me in September?
Thankfully, I won’t have to compete with the MIL in my living room on that one. She’s back in Vegas now. I have roughly six months before she’s back.
I better get to practicing.
