I like to breathe a sigh of relief when I hit the “30 week” mark! It feels good to say. For some reason, anytime you are week 30 or more people understand the giant belly you are sporting.
They say things like, “oh wow, y0ur getting so close.” Instead of “oh wow, your really out there for being just 29 weeks”. There is something about going to the 30’s that makes people really see how far along you are.
And I like it.
Isn’t Klaya funny in this picture? I can just read her mind. Like, “mom. why are you taking pictures of yourself in the mirror and what the heck is going on with that basketball you have under your shirt.”
If all goes like my previous pregnancies, I only have 8 more weeks to go! I’m not counting on going at 38 weeks, but you bet your bottom dollar that I am hoping this pregnancy would be no different than the others. So far that is pretty much true so I am hoping little Mr. Sloane doesn’t let me down.
I delivered both P and Bents around 16 days early. 16 days early would mean May 16th. YIKES that’s close!
Our painter started yesterday and the nursery is on it’s way to being started. Now I just need to figure out his bed situation. I am nesting so bad it’s not even funny. ALL I want to do is organize stuff. I sit around thinking of what I can organize next. Over the weekend I organized the hallway linen closet and it felt sooooo good! Who says that?
Now that it is getting too warm to warm scarves, I have no way of disguising the belly anymore. So, I’ve resorted to cute necklaces. It doesn’t work near as good, but I am hoping if I can make a statement with my necklace people will be more likely to look at that than my babybelly. 🙂
I got this one in San Fran (Chinatown) for $10!! It ties in a bow in the back and I love it!
Hope you all are having a great day! I am headed to a Women’s Retreat tomorrow with 5 of other girls from my small group for 2 days. AND YES, we are taking the mini!
Daddy will be holding down the fort. I’m anxious to see how much of an appreciation he will have for me after being with the kids alone for 2 days. Good luck honey!

You look FANTASTIC!!!! And yayy for 30 weeks!! 28 here and I can relate to your excitement of hitting 30……. 28 still just doesn’t seem like enough. Once I hit 30, I’ll feel like it’s downhill from there [ya, right]. I’m really wishing that I was 36 or so weeks NOW and that my little guy would arrive before it gets scorching hot and humid here in good ol’ Houston. Oh well, that wasn’t in the plan I suppose!
Hope you are feeling great. 🙂
AND, I can’t wait to see his nursery!! ekkkkk!
