I am officially obsessed with my new glider for Bent’s room!!

I have been talking about this glider for 6 weeks. SIX LONG WEEKS.

That’s how long it took from the time I ordered it….to the time it arrived on my door step.

I use to have an old rocking chair from J’s dad. It had some sentimental value. But it also had the hardest seat on the planet.

I used it for P, but I decided that I could no longer rock my babies in a chair that made my butt numb. Sorry Papa Keith.

It didn’t make for a pleasant rocking experience for anyone.

Don’t worry. We still kept the “mini” rocker that also use to be Papa Keiths. We are still keeping around the sentimental value. Plus it’s perfect size for Bents. And trust me…he’s too young to realize his butt’s getting numb.

It took me awhile to decide what fabric to go with. My choice was a little risky…just the boldness and all. But I went for it!

I heart it. No. I double heart it.

It’s SUPER FABULOUS! Let’s just say…my butt is happy!

I ordered it HERE. You know. Just in case you want rush out and give your butt some happiness too (and NO…they did not pay me to say that…although I wish they did).

I still need to find some “accessories” for my new shelves and something to put on the wall behind the chair.

Is it bad that he’s 5 months old and his room is still a work in progress?

I did just get his new crib too!! Our old crib was recalled.

FYI: ALL SIMPLICITY CRIBS HAVE BEEN RECALLED. ALL MODELS! I took mine back to Wal-mart and got the FULL price back with no receipt!

It was actually kind of exciting. Not that I am excited that cribs are getting recalled. But it gave me a chance to get Bents a new crib.

And a boy this cute…deserves a cute crib.

Not to mention I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night knowing that my sweet baby boy is sleeping in a crib that could possibly be dangerous.

A safe (and cute) crib. And one happy butt. Life is good.
