I swear the weather was so nice for a few weeks and now it feels like winter again! I was really hoping we were going to be able to swim soon, but I’m pretty sure the pool water is below 60 degrees right now.

Our sweet little SJ has been on and off sick this weekend. Poor buddies. He was totally fine until Friday after his nap. He woke up puking. No fever though.

He then preceded to puke about 15 more times before he went to bed for the evening.

He did not want ANYONE else but ME to hold him. This was him when daddy tried to step in to give me a potty break…

He laid on me for a good 3 hours which has absolutely NEVER EVER EVER happened. None of my kids have ever laid on me that long….even when they’ve been sick.

I absolutely hate that he was feeling ill, but I adored his sweet snuggles.

Luckily by Saturday evening he was feeling much better.

I guess he just had a 24 hour bug. I like this face much better than the previous picture.

I was happy that he was happy because we had some dinner plans for Saturday night and I would have hated to cancel. I have a wonderful babysitter who watched the boys so I knew he would be in good hands.

It was a nice break to go out for dinner with some great friends!

We had the absolute WORST service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. EVER. Fortunately we were all able to laugh it off and still enjoy the evening (even if it took us 3 hours to get our meal).

We skipped church this morning just in case SJ still has the bug in his system. I didn’t want to take the chance of him passing it on to any other kids.

Daddy just left to take the big boys to “Castle Park” (one of their favs) and I am home waiting for sweet SJ to wake from his nap!
