My husband and I stayed up late Friday night filming our videos for the Get Rich Slowly 2012 video contest. We had so much fun! I can promise you that his video is WAY better than mine. I’m not good at professional type videos, but I absolutely love JD from Get Rich Slowly (who I met at FINCON) and so I wanted to enter this year.

I won’t be offended if he asks me to UN-enter. 🙂

We didn’t finish till past 11:00 pm and then I decided I was going to redecorate some shelves in our living room. I had the ladder out and the whole nine yards. At around 12:40 am my husband looked at me and said….what on earth on you still doing awake.

Decorating. Duh!

Ahem.

No really, he was right, I should have went to bed way before I did. I am not pleasant when I don’t get my sleep.

Being the nice hubby he is…he let me sleep in yesterday and it was BLISSFUL! I didn’t leave my bed until 9:13 am. I wish I could do that every Saturday. Hint hint. 

I even woke up to chocolate covered donuts from our favorite donut shop and a fountain coke! YUM!

He took the boys to Walmart and they preceded to come home with a basketball goal. Yes, a big one for outside. So we spent the entire day outside watching daddy try to put it together. I think I may have to do an entire post on the experience.

*Remember…my husband is a business man…not a handy man. To say that it was an adventure would be an understatement. 

I normally don’t post on the weekends, but I just had to pop in and say that I hope you all are having a fabulous one!
