When life gets exhausting, just drop what you are doing…and close your eyes.
Even if it means doing it in the entrance to the kitchen on the floor.
Because rest is rest.
Kitchen floor or not. And you gotta do what you gotta do.
I feel like I had such a wonderful four days off. Off of working. Off of blogging. Off of twitter and facebook and instagram and google reader.
But it also meant that it was four full days of nonstop activities and kid action. Swimming and bike riding and cookouts and friends.
With the fun comes lots of exhaustion!
And this mama is TIRED!
Phew.
Apparently, Bents is mildly tired too. He couldn’t even make it to his bed for a nap.
I’m pretty sure he was trying to get a snack out of the pantry when his little body decided it was too tired to move.
There is so much to recap from our weekend festivities, but sticking with the theme of this post…“TIRED”…it looks like I will need a nap before I get the energy to blog.
Let’s just hope I don’t crash out on the kitchen floor as I go prepare the crockpot for our dinner tonight.

I am exhausted too! I had to pull myself out of bed this morning but I can guarantee we won’t do much today! Here’s hoping for a nice,slow, rainy day!
It took every single ounce of energy I had this morning to blog about our weekend. Other than a little Facebook and Twitter, it felt SO NICE to be away from the computer. Seriously…it was almost hard to force myself to sit down at it today. Glad you guys had such a fun weekend!! I think we all need weekends like that.

Hilarious. I love it. Some days, I wish that I could crash like that. But it would be right by my desk and in the middle of the hallway… I think my boss would probably frown upon this.

I hear ya girl! I’m tired too, but we had a great weekend!! Parker is at school & Griffin is in bed….maybe I should be napping instead of on this computer?! Hope you get to nap at some point today!!
