Lately I have spent every free moment I have shopping for the new house. Go figure.

I am the type of person who loves to find a “deal”…a “sale”…or a “bargain”.  So far, I am pretty impressed with some of the deals that I have found.

So…as you can imagine…I don’t just buy the first bathroom vanity I fall in love with. I have literally spent hours upon hours searching for the right “deal”. I can happily say I have ordered and received the bathroom vanities for the kids bath and the guest bath and I LOVE THEM!

I ended up ordering the guest bath vanity off of ebay! Wow…can I just say…ebay is my new bf. I have never been an ebay fan…until now.

I got this 36″ bathroom vanity with glass door inserts, black granite countertop, vessel sink, AND faucet for just $750! I even emailed the ebay store owner and asked for free shipping and guess what….he didn’t give me free shipping, but he gave me $75 off! Never hurts to ask!

I ended up finding the kids bathroom vanity on an ebay store as well. However, I ordered this one directly from the seller’s website….www.vanitiesonsale.com. Why, you ask? Because he gave me a coupon code for $200 off! This double vanity ended up only costing me $1,400. But keep in mind that comes with the vanity, sinks, countertops, faucets, AND the mirrors! Try and beat that deal. You won’t.

Both products came on a freight truck and are really great quality! I was a little worried since you never know exactly what you are getting when you order on line, but both of them exceeded my expectations in person!

We also took a trip to STL recently to pick out our granite countertops for the kitchen. They let you walk in their warehouse and choose your exact slabs! We were immediately drawn to the Bianco Antico!! It didn’t even take us 15 minutes to decide on the granite! It was the fastest and easiest decision we have made so far regarding the house. Now only if every decision were that easy. haha!

I can’t wait to show you new pictures of the house progress. The shingles are going on now and the contractor has the plumbers and the electricians finishing up this week as well. Next week starts dry wall!! It is going so fast!!
