I got the sweetest little gift in the mail yesterday from my friend Angie! She sent SJ this adorable lovey decked out in Cardinal colors as a thank you from some referrals she has gotten through my blog and Pinterest! SO nice!

Sorry if your a Cubs fan! My husband may not allow us to be friends if that’s the case. Ahem.

Angie has recently scaled back at her full time job (as a nurse) to concentrate more on her sewing business! If you haven’t checked out her stuff you MUST go to her site! She has some adorable custom made things! I always love when she does anything for the boys. Plus, she’s a great resource when it comes to ordering a custom gift for your friend’s children!

So who better to call when I was searching for ideas on what the boys could wear for our family pictures that are coming up next week!

I COMPLETELY stress out over family pictures. It use to not be so bad when it was just P, but the thought of getting ALL three boys dressed (cute) and cooperating at once is nearly impossible!  I usually debate their outfits for weeks and then end up not ordering anything which leaves me scrambling at the last minute to put their outfits together.

I DID NOT WANT that to be the case this year! I knew Angie would have some great ideas for me! I told her that I wanted to keep the colors neutral and that I wanted to do their initial on a shirt. Here’s what she did for me:

I think it will be PERFECT for the pictures! I didn’t originally want to do white shirts, but we are going to be doing the pics outside so I think the white will really pop!

We went with a brown curdoroy in the circle and sock monkey fabric for the letters!

I am so glad that their outfits are decided (with 7 days to spare)! SUPERMOM right here! Ha! I can’t wait for one of my besties, Katie, to snap our pics!

I know her pictures will turn out WAY better than the newest photographer of the family…Bents. And yes, he took this pic.

It’s his new favorite activity…self portraits with mommy’s iphone. 🙂
