Here’s the deal with me and lipstick … I have never found a lipstick I use alone. Meaning that EVERY time I put on lipstick I always apply some type of shimmer lipstick or lipgloss over it.
I could never understand why makeup companies didn’t make a stick that had matte and shimmer all in one stick.
As a mom of three, the last thing I want to have to carry in my diaper bag is TWO lipsticks. Listen, I barely have enough space between my diapers and my Cheez-its to fit anything that makes me pretty. Let alone two of them.

FINALLY, someone gets it! Literally this has been the lipstick I have been in need of for a long, long time.
One end is matte lipcolor. One end is shimmer lipcolor.
Genius {in my humble opinion}.
I really like how the colors are just slightly different. One is a little darker than the other. I layered the more matte color underneath the shimmer color and … LOVE!
Another thing that I like about it? The price point. I can be so frugal when it comes to home decor and fashion so why not carry that attitude over into my makeup habits? Especially when I’m shopping lipstick.
For $7.99 I could buy two different colors of the Blast Flipstick and not feel guilty. Heck, I could buy four and still not be broke.
The color I went with is called Whisper. I tend to go with more pink tones when I buy lipcolor because I like how it looks with my skin tone.
I have tried the reds and the peachy-oranges and the deep deep browns, but I keep going back to my pinks. I personally like a more natural look when it comes to my lips and this color really made me happy.
It gave me just enough color to not look “blah” but not enough to look “WHOA”.
I will admit the hubby likes me in red lipcolor. I don’t see it. I personally think I look “over done”, but I may just bust out of my comfort zone and surprise him with some bright lips soon. We’ll see.

Hi there, I pesonally like a taupe/brown color from Wet-n-wild. I have used this color for the past 12 years or so. Since I was a sophmore in High School!
I am so scared of lipstick, and makeup in general. I find one thing I like and just wear it everyday! If I wear lipstick it’s a pink/natural color. If I win, maybe I should use the gift card to get a make over!

I prefer pinks because they are safe, but I have noticed I get way more compliments when I wear reds.

I usually go with the standard Chapstick lipstick : ) but when I do wear some, it is red. I am still in the hunt for a perfect red though; I need one with blue undertones because of my skin tone but haven’t quite found The One yet!
I love the plum colors they are very fall/winter and go with my dark brown hair and olive skin tone. I am definitely going to have to try this covergirl lipstick!!!!!

For whatever reason lipstick has always intimated me. When I do wear it, which is rarely I tend to go for light pinks or taupe. Something close to my natural coloring.
I almost always prefer Chapstick over lipstick, but occasionally I’ll go for a nude shade.
I like darker pinks best! My skin tone is a little bit darker, so I love the look of amping it up a bit without it being TOO much! I totally wish I could rock the red!

When I wear lipstick it is generally a more neutral pink/brown. Since I keep everything neutral most of the time I don’t want my lips to stick out. And red never looks good on me. 🙂

I love wearing purples..lavender shades..not dark purple and brighter pinks in the summer when my skin has more color!

That color looks AMAZING on you! I am going to have to try it! I always stick with pink lip color, anything else just looks cartoony or ridic on me. Pink is just enough to not be plain jane but not overdone 🙂
