The days are all running together for me. I barely know if it’s a weekday or the weekend. And don’t even ask me what time it is. Geez.
I’ve been in too many time zones to keep track of what time it is.
We drove from Durango, CO to Gunnison, CO today. The hubs decided we should take the scenic route. You know, the one that winds around the mountains. Where if you make one minor mistake you will fall off the side of a cliff and be done for. Phew.
It was 2 things:
1. AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS.
2. EXTREMELY STRESSFUL.
I kept reminding Jeff Rose not to be enjoying the view. Eyes on the road. Eyes on the road.
My favorite part about today?
We stopped on the side of the road (where there was an area to pull over) and took family photos with this ridiculously fantastic mountain backdrop. I set up the tripod and then had to google how to set my Canon 70D self timer. Ha! Good thing I had cell phone service.
Pretty sure the goofy family photo will be our 2014 Christmas card photo…and we may have to photoshop in our baby #4 if our adoption goes through by then!
Gunnison, CO has pretty much NOTHING…except for the most amazing kids park EVER. For real. It was playground heaven.
Day 10 – Gunnison, Colorado
Oh and I filmed two day 10 videos. You know, because like I said…I’m confused on what day it is…and obviously what videos I have filmed. But the second one I had to post…because it’s REAL life. And you all might want to send me flowers after you see what I’m dealing with every night at bedtime.

Love Gunnison!!! My best friend from college was from there and I have visited several times. The town and surrounding area is amazing. Also random fact the walmart in town is the smallest walmart square footage wise in america(maybe world wide?) If you have time eat at Slogars in crested butte. They serve a family style meal that is to die for.

Two things:
1. Were the trucks in the sand box already there for all kids to play with? If so, then that’s a pretty awesome playground indeed!
2. I had to laugh when I saw your hubby’s shot on the dinosaur. Classic!!!
