I am writing this in the heat of my FRUSTRATION…
This morning has been awful!
I went to wake up P…only to find he had puked ALL over himself in his crib.
I don’t mean a little puke.
I mean LOTS and LOTs of puke.
Puke in the hair.
Puke covering his jams.
Puke all over his sheets.
Puke all over CG.
PUKE.PUKE.PUKE.
And I almost puked myself from the smell.
How did I not hear or see him puking in the middle of the night.
I have a video monitor that I keep on high volume?
I feel like a TERRIBLE mommy.
My son slept in his own puke all night long.
Really?
UGH!
On the flip side…he acted totally fine.
Almost like nothing had happened.
He woke up rockstar style…ready to go!
Thank God for that part.
Then….it gets better….
I went to get in my car.
You know, my lovely car that I love so much.
The one that always works properly (ahem).
Yea, it won’t start.
For real?
Can someone jump out of the bushes and yell “APRIL FOOLS”…PLEASE???????
Nope, no such luck. No April Fools for me.
Crap!
So, my car is now being towed to the shop.
The shop where they “supposedly” fixed it on Monday. Yea.
I think not.
If they make me pay for this repair…someone’s gonna be sorry.
O.M.G! wait, what. THAT seriously does sound like an april fools day u r having!!! puke and a broke car!?! well have a cup of coffee (or maybe a calming tea would be better :-). as they say it coudl be worse! sorry i know prob not somethign u wanted to hear, but the puke story is not something i look fwd to in the future i’ll prob call my mom, LOL. wait, i’m serious.

You poor thing! This does all sound like a terrible April Fool’s joke!! I am glad the P man is feeling okay today and I hope they figure out the situation with your car 🙁 And listen…you are NOT a bad mommy. Addie somehow bit her lip in the middle of the night and bled on her sheets. I am sure she must have been awake jumping around or something and I am sure she cried when she did it. But do you think I heard that over my monitor which is also up full blast? No ma’am! But like P, she is totally fine. We are the ones who always feel worse then they do. That’s mommyhood for ya! Hope your day gets better sweetie!

Wow! You did have a rough start to the day! I hope your car truly gets fixed at no add’l charge, and little P learns to puke louder. Don’t feel too bad…I’ve actually barfed before and it was pretty much soundless. Perhaps that’s why you didn’t hear anything. I’m just glad he turned his head or was on his stomach! And, to have him wake up feeling great? I’d say its excellent he got that stuff out of his tummy.

I am new to your blog, but this post made me laugh a little- even though I know it wasn’t a fun way to start your day.
I woke up this morning and when I heard my son playing in his crib (he was so happy!) I thought, well I might as well go make some coffee and relax for a minute, bad idea. My son had somehow managed to get his diaper off, and play with his SUPER messy diaper, all over his white crib, and cream colored walls (not to mention his sheets). Talk about being a bad mom…..
