This was, by far, the best Halloween yet for us. The boys are old enough now to really get in to the trick-or-treating. I wanted to get these pictures posted because I knew if I didn’t do it tonight? I would procrastinate and never post them.
I already told you my plans for this year was to have Buzz, Woody, and Slinky Dog. Instead I ended up with Buzz, Handy Manny, and Elmo.
I still think they are a cute crew regardless of whether they “matched” or not.
Do y’all know how hard it is to photograph these three together?
Someone’s always touching someone. Hitting someone. Pinching someone. Squeezing someone too hard.
And Bents? Well, I have just completely given up hope of ever having a picture of him smiling like a normal child in his second year of life. Maybe age three will bring the real smile?
I’m not sure what’s better….the weird camera faces he makes or the back of the head?
My little Elmo was probably the only one who stayed warm. That costume was like a sauna suit.
Zombie or Buzz Lightyear?
Our town has a Halloween parade that we walk in every year.
Well…some of us get pushed.
The neighborhood crew was there! Another lovely face by Bents.
A few of the neighborhood moms…the ones who have to put up with all of these crazy boys.
I wish I could have gathered up the other neighborhood ladies that were there for a group picture, but most of us were busy chasing kids.
You did notice that there is not one girl in that picture of the kiddos, right? Haha! Boy moms unite!
My kids have all come down off their sugar rush {finally} and are crashed out. Let’s hope tomorrow they don’t wake up with a candy hangover.
Now excuse me while I go secretly find a Reese’s in the treat bag. SHHHHH!
I swear I will start eating healthy tomorrow.

YAY!! Our kids all stayed in costume!!!!! I think that earns us SEVERAL Reeses. November 1st is the perfect day to start eating healthy anyway 🙂 Glad you guys had a nice Halloween. xoxo

…. at least your boys HAD costumes. Granted Carter had a costume but we left it in MD not thinking we’d be stranded in New Jersey. Hmm.. maybe he’ll just wear it to the park this week? Or.. the grocery store? Bah! I can’t get enough of those Rose boys! Love them to bits!

Very true! I am glad you all are safe though! I was so super worried about y’all. One of our friends had a sick kid last night so they are just going to let him dress up this weekend and take him trick or treating to different friends houses. You could always do that! Can’t wait for the 4 month post on MacDaddy!
Andrea says
What cute little guys!! I can’t stop laughing at how hard it must be to get a picture of the three of them!
Mandy says
I usually just try for individual shots! Ha! They are going to look back and wonder why there are so few pictures of them all together. You princess and pig were pretty darn cute!
Dana @ This Silly Girl's Life says
Aww, they all look super cute as always but that little Elmo costume is too much. I just wanna squeeze him!
Kala says
Your boys are so adorable! We only ended up having around 6 or 8 trick-or-treaters last night, which was kind of disappointing, but I can’t say I’m surprised. Glad you guys had a good night!

Love your Boys they are adorable …
So at the risk of sounding stalkerish here is something I have been meaning to tell you!
I have been following AP at ILYMTC for awhile and that’s where I found your blog. I don’t have my own blog because I would be the type of girl to write for a week straight and then forget about the blog for months but I enjoy reading all of my friends posts during my lunch break each and every day.
I especially LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog. This is quite embarrassing because I totally have a girl crush on you (no worries I got married last month) but I save your blog for the last read every day because I am always so excited to see what you post. You always keep me interested and I want to be YOU as a mom when I have kids. Thanks for sharing your lovely family and home.
Much Love from a non-bloggy friend
P.S. I totally want Boys (Always have, always will and yours are just the cutest!)
Mandy says
Awwwww, that is so sweet Joanna! I am so glad you stepped out and commented! I totally don’t find you stalkerish at all. 🙂 I love that you LOVE the blog!! Honestly, comments like this is what keeps me writing here! Congrats on just getting married by the way! My favorite compliment was “I want to be YOU as a mom when I have kids”. That means so much! Really! Because being a momma is sometimes exhausting and I don’t always feel like I am doing my best so I it’s so encouraging to hear someone say that. Boys are the best! Don’t get me wrong…you will be blessed either way, but I’m a little bias to the boy mom side. Haha! Thanks again for your comment!

Too cute! Are you on instagram? I gotta get updates with pics of those cuties! I’m jealous of the parade and having neighborhood mom friends!

They are so adorable! My daughter is obsessed with Elmo! I applaud you for wrangling three little ones in costumes and trick-or-treating. I thought it was tough with one! 🙂 Looks like you guys had a great one!
Kelly says
Aww, I love your comment about the “boy moms”, I just love being a boy mom…but at the same time, that’s all I know 😉
M @ Perfectly Imperfect says
I’m impressed they all stayed in costume!! The look cute!!
Roni says
I think Sloan looks exactly like you, Mandy. Yes, Parker and Bents look like their Daddy but I really think Sloan takes after you.

Oh, goodness….. these boys!!! They are so stinking cute! What in the world are you going to do when hoards of girls are knocking on your door or blowing up their cell phones. Ekkkkk. The thought overwhelms me. NOPE, we’ll just keep them little. Isn’t it that easy???
Glad y’all had a fun Halloween!
