Are you ready to get in front of camera and broadcast your face to the world? It’s okay…..take a deep breath. ๐
I was super excited about starting to do video, there was just one little bitty problem – I had no clue had to get started.
I felt like I was blogging for the first time again where I knew nothing about WordPress or HTML. Video can be very intimidating for anyone; and it was for me; too.
Dive Right In
Staying true to self, I dove right in. Somehow I stumbled across Gideon Shalwck and downloaded his free guide – a MUST read – and learned a lot of cool tips.
Most recently, I signed up for James Wedmore’s YouTube Traffic Academy << one of the best $97 I’ve ever spent. Seriously. If you want to get into video and market your videos on YouTube, his course is a must. (Expect a full review coming soon).
But before you get into marketing your videos, there’s a few things you have to get: a camera and editing software. And technically you don’t even need editing software if you’re just going to use a webcam. This is how I started, but I was wanting a little more “ummppphh” with my videos, so I stepped it up a notch.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how I film my videos. The only thing that has been changed is that I have added the Canon T3i to the mix. Let me know what questions you have!

I may have questions about videos later on. Am thinking about adding them on my blog.

@CentsToSave Ask away! Video was very intimidating for me at the beginning; just like blogging was. After a few test runs and a lot of screw ups; they are finally starting to look good. ๐
