Welcome to the Inspire Me Please Weekend Blog Hop.
About every 3 months I decide that I’m gonna get with the program and start cooking dinner on a regular basis.
I know what you are thinking. You are thinking… “Mandy, you don’t cook dinner every night like the perfect housewife?”
And let me answer that loud and clear for you.
NO. I DO NOT.
It’s my biggest housewife flaw. Besides cleaning in a maid outfit. I don’t do that either.
But really, it causes so much frustration between me and the hubs. Some nights he comes home and I’m like Martha Stewart. Mini Cheddar Meatloafs with Savory Garlic Potatoes are waiting on the table.
And other nights? He comes home and I got nothing. No food. No plan. No notta.
Those are the days that we end up eating eggs for dinner. Or bacon. Or Spaghettios. #keepinitreal
Soooo… I’m on my “I’m gonna be a good housewife and cook dinner regularly” kick again. Mainly because the recipes that were linked up last week looked too good to not try.
Jeff Rose thanks you.

How does your husband come home every night, if he works at home? I know it could be the gym or something but just sounds odd. If he’s home with you why doesn’t he do any meal prepping. Im not trying to be rude just curious.
Mandy says
My husband doesn’t work from home. He has a financial planning practice that he owns and he has an office. He technically has 2 full time jobs with the business and the blogging so the least I can do is meal prep. 🙂

I have two toddlers and we’ve had eggs for dinner twice this week. No shame, sister! No shame! I’m just happy they’ll eat it! Have a great weekend and thanks for hosting.
