I think you can see…it’s pretty clear! haha!

I am beyond excited for another lil boy! I am not sure P is that excited…I keep asking him if he wants a baby sister or baby brother and he says “nope”. When I ask him want he wants he tells me he wants a “baby CG”. Unfortunately, for him, we will not be having a baby monkey.

It is cute to hear him say, “it’s a booouuuy” in his high pitched lil voice. I don’t think he really knows what that means yet, but he sure enjoyed watching the baby on the screen during the ultrasound. When she put the jelly on my belly he said “mommy dirty…ewwwww”!

Isn’t he so cute sitting there watching the baby on the wall? He was very interested and slightly confused. img_2060

I think the smile means he’s okay with it not being a baby monkey after all!

img_2072I thought I may be disappointed if it wasn’t a girl…but I can honestly say…I wasn’t a bit disappointed! I knew it was a boy for some reason and I was just as excited to hear her say “there’s the penis”! haha! P will LOVE having a baby brother and I can’t wait to watch them grow up together.

And of course this is God’s way of making sure I don’t stop at 2 babies. 🙂

J has been out of town for 6 DAYS!! I didn’t advertise that on my blog or twitter since I was home alone and all. I didn’t want any crazies coming to get me. 🙂 He went on a hiking trip to Yellowstone with a few friends. They hiked a total of 35 miles! Phew! Luckily he didn’t get eaten by any bears!

I am so glad to have him home! I hate sleeping alone. I am not sure how I ever made it when he was in Iraq for 15 months!

I had my ultrasound Friday, right before he was suppose to be home. I wanted to surprise him!! I hung a banner in the spare bedroom.img_6678

He was, of course, super happy! He was hoping for another boy! We will get to go Wednesday again so he can actuallly see the baby too. I didn’t want him to miss out on the whole experience.

So…I may be out numbered by men in this house…but I will still be the Queen of the castle! I like that.

  1. I am SOOOOOOO excited for you guys!!! I think that is so wonderful that P will have a little brother. I can just picture him now 🙂 And how fantastic that BOTH of our boys will only be weeks apart!! I so wish we were closer to share this experience but at least we have blogs and lots of pictures. Miss you guys SO MUCH!
