…this cute smiley face!

Six long days of P Man being sick has made me so sad. And a little crazy. He had it all…fever, cough, high temperature, stuffy nose, vomiting (LOTS of vomiting), lethargic, no appetite…you name it, he had it.

After a visit to urgent care yesterday (in the snow) it seems like we might be headed towards healthy soon. His chest x-ray’s came back negative for pneumonia (PRAISE JESUS). They did show markings of a severe viral infection and asthma (possibly viral-induced asthma????). I have no idea what any of that means. He also has an ear infection.

I think I got puked on yesterday about 18 times. Good stuff. The best was when he puked on me in the waiting room at urgent care…and I had no change of clothes.

Yum.

All I know is that he smiled on more than one occasion today and I have REALLY missed that little smile of his.

Not to mention he got a little “tude” with me tonight.

He decided that he felt well enough to take a shower with daddy (thank goodness….because there is no amount of wipes that can rid the smell of puke).

I cooked dinner while they showered and when they came to eat…this was our conversation:

Me:  Daddy has dish duty tonight.

P: No he doesn’t.

Me: Yes, he does because mommy had dinner duty.

P: No, daddy shouldn’t have dish duty because he had shower duty.

Daddy: That’s right. Daddy had shower duty.

I’m being tag teamed by both of my men. Nice.

And apparently, I’m doing the dishes tonight.
