I’m sure you’ve seen me talk about my friend Tonya from Love of Family and Home. We are not just online friends, we are real life friends first. We met at church a few years ago and became super close…especially since we both were bloggers and could relate to each other!
Last week Tonya turned her dream into a reality and her and her mom opened up a local boutique selling home decor, clothing, gifts and accessories. Ahhhh!
I was so excited that I showed up at the grand opening with my huge camera and took about 9 gazillion pictures.
Because that’s what proud friends do, right?
Or crazy friends.
Ahem.
If you live around the Southern Illinois area, her shop is located in downtown Murphysboro, IL. Right on the main street next to the Event Center.
I am just warning you though…if you visit there, you will leave with less money than you showed up with.
I may or may not have left with another piece of wall art (the one pictured above that says “pray”). Because we all now how much room I have for more wall art???? Bahahaha.

Tonya has always had such a talent for decorating and has inspired me in many of my home decor projects. She was definitely born with the gift!
One of my favorite sections in her store was the Christmas section. Her mom actually MADE all of these little signs.
I’m gonna convince her to open an online shop too…because those of you who aren’t lucky enough to live in good ole Southern Illinois NEED some of her adorable stuff in your home. I promise you that.

These stores are my favorite ones to even just go window shopping in. I love the style of the t’s as well as the little wine signs her mother made…because I totally relate:).
The cuffs are fantastic! Please keep us updated if they decide to do an online store because I would shop there.

Wow! Those pieces look great, especially the bracelets. I wish for us who have to wear them, medical bracelets could look that great, as well. Form and function in one!
