Hehe! Everytime I hear “Love & Marriage” I think of Al Bundy and the old sitcom, Married With Children. I’m really aging myself with that comment.
Tell me you’ve seen that show back in the day?
What a terrible husband Al would have made. He was a women’s shoe salesman and he hated his job, wife AND kids. Yikes.
I’m lucky to say that I married a man who is Al Bundy’s opposite. But that’s not to say that my marriage is perfect because it’s far from that.
I knew when I was ask to join this group & openly talk about marriage it would stretch me. But as you know, I love a good love story and even better…I love to know what is working and what is not when it comes to keeping your marriage alive.
I will be starting a month long series on Marriage with a few other women who inspire me through their faith and love for Jesus {and who’s marriages aren’t perfect either – but look nothing like Al Bundy’s marriage}.
I’m excited to be joining Jenna, Shay, Jenn, Lindsay, and Megan for the “Love and Marriage” series!
Each Wednesday in April we will be writing about our marriage.
We will be sharing our experiences and being transparent about what marriage has been like for us in hopes that it will somehow inspire you and your marriage. And I can’t wait to hear your ideas and secrets to a successful healthy marriage.
No one is perfect. No marriage is perfect. And I plan to reveal things about marriage that I have never openly talked about here on the blog. We are real people who have real marriages with real problems and we want to show you that with the right work and dedication, any marriage can be successful. My hope is that I will learn EVEN more from the stories you have to share.
I hope you will join us every Wednesday in April for the Love & Marriage Blog Series!
