Mint and black…my new obsession. Oh, and chevron. DUH!
It’s like a perfect blend.
Safe to say I jumped on this dress immediately when I saw it on Kikilarue. And if you know Kikilarue…you gotta be quick when you want something! Because there are about 8 bazillion other people trying to order it too. Yea, the shop is that fab.
You probably remember when I posted a peek of it on my Instagram or my What I’m Wearing to Blissdom post.
I don’t wear dresses NEAR enough. Maybe it’s because I work from home or maybe it’s because I have three kids, but either way, sometimes it feels so good to put on a dress.
It makes me feel glamorous again!
By the way, have you ever tried to have a photo shoot with yourself? This was my first “selfie” photo session using the tri-pod.
I got about 5 different shots and then I was out of focus for the remaining 86 pictures. Nice.
The tri-pod can not be trusted.
I had a few other outfits I was going to try and include, but BAM…the 5 in-focus photos will have to work.
One thing I love about this dress is that you can throw a cardigan over it and add some leggings…and it’s instantly a winter dress. I love pieces that I can wear all year round.
The boots look is more for winter or fall. I just wore it to a wedding this weekend with black high heels and I got tons of compliments.
You know what else I realized after this little photo session…my hair is long. Like really long. I don’t think I’ve had it this long since my wedding.
Don’t tell my husband, but I’m dying to cut it. He says no way. Errrrrr.
I guess long it is.

I love chevron, too! I am so happy it is still in this Spring, because last summer I bought a chevron maxi dress from White House Black Market and their dresses are not cheap, so I will be happy to get more wear out of it! Yeah! I love dresses that you can turn into winter dresses. The dress looks super cute with those black boots.

This is simple and cute. Often the simplest things are too cute just like this. I love those strips and how you highlight them.
