Bob and Linda have been our friends for several years and we totally admire their intentionality in making their marriage a priority. We know you’re going to love hearing their story!
We first met the Litoch’s about five years ago at a blogger conference and today, they have been good friends to us both online and offline… they too love Jesus, Bob is a finance guy with a blog that’s doing big thing and they have one little boy, so we have a lot in common.
Recently they took the plunge and on a whim they moved in Nashville leaving their community and support system in St. Louis. Along with all the ups and downs of change, in this episode we’re hearing the story behind how they almost eloped and how after dating not too long, they knew they were ready to tie the knot. But after the honeymoon and first year of marriage being so easy… come along year 5 to 7, marriage got hard.
So what got hard? Nothing major changed, happened or was the cause of marriage hitting a few rough patches… it was more just complacency taking over day after day.
From arguing more than desired to not meeting expectations, the Litoch’s have battled through the struggles that a total lack of communication brings.
It seems so simple and after years of marriage we all begin to make assumptions and they are just failed communication episodes again and again that all build up.
Tune into this episode to hear more on marriage, moving and making life work when big change comes.
