The Love Languages have had a major impact on the Rose’s marriage and many in the Marriage More community swear by them, too. Here’s an updated discussion on their Love Languages.
No shame. We didn’t know what or how the Love Languages could impact our marriage until not too long ago too!
The easiest way for us to define the Love Languages is this: How do you feel loved? What ways makes you feel loved the most? Whatever the answer to those two questions are… those are your love languages.
Some of us feel more loved when we are affirmed through words, others physical touch. We were each made and wired to receive love differently. So often in marriage we each give love the way we receive it best. But instead, we should be giving love the way our spouse receives it best.
The Love Languages are a simple way to know how you feel love and can express love.

Words of affirmation – Check out our Praise Challenge we completed and see how using words creates an impact.
Acts of service – What you do means more than what you say. Mandy loves this one. Whether it’s picking the kids up from school or cleaning up after yourself….
Receiving gifts – Love getting flowers delivered? Gifts on every holiday? You feel loved when gifts are received.
Quality time – Whether its watching a movie or having the daily catch me up chat from our Love Habits challenge spending time together undivided attention is key here.
Physical touch – Hand holding or happenings behind closed doors, nothing speaks more clearly than an appropriate touch.
