Our weekends almost ALWAYS consists of movie night.
When you have 3 small kids….movie night is where it’s at people. That means, staying in…not fighting the restaurant crowd…no dinner time tantrums that make the table next to you give you the death stare…no food fights…no meltdowns because they had round chicken nuggets instead of dino nuggets…no waitresses hating you because they now have to get the vacuum out to sweep up the floor under your table…NONE OF THAT.
Movie nights are stress free.
Popcorn is mandatory.
Usually we have to watch some “boy” movie (that almost always contains dinosaurs, robots, or trains). But, if it means 1.5 hours of peace and quiet on the couch with my boys, I don’t care what movie it is!
Bents doesn’t usually get to join us for the entire movie because his bedtime is 6:30 pm.
It’s a good thing because the peace would end quickly if he got to stay up. He likes to steal his brothers popcorn.
“Two for me. None for you.”
And just when mommy and daddy think it’s time to relax…he likes to remind us that life is never dull with BOYS.
Nice.
He thinks he’s a funny guy too.
P Man and I breathe a sigh of relief when he finally goes to bed.
P gets his popcorn back. And mommy gets her peace and quiet.

These are such cute pictures! How in the world did you get Bentley to go to sleep at 6:30?? Gah, I’m fighting Averly at 9:00 lately! I’m jealous.

My wild man goes to bed at 8 and gets up around 6:30-7. He also takes a 2-3 hour nap. Does Bently nap?

Aww, Bent is so cute with his popcorn (and his brother’s!) Movie nights at home rock. We always make homemade pizza, lot’s of fun for all. And, then after the kids have their movie and go to bed, hubby and I have our movie and break out the wine. hehee
