From Day 1, I knew I wanted the new nursery to have stripes on the walls. It was just a vision I had in my head. I love the sleek modern look of it!
Once I picked my fabric, which you can see here, I decided that the stripes needed to be gray and white. Do you know how long I looked on line for “cool” pictures to use for inspiration? Let’s just say…longer than I’d like to admit.
Ahem.
Luckily, a blog I read called , “Life at the White House”, posted pictures of her newly painted nursery…and guess what…it was EXACTLY what I had in my head to use for baby #3!
Look how ADORABLE and AWESOME her stripes turned out!
I quickly emailed Darci from “Life at the White House” and asked her 8 million questions from…what color of gray did she use to how thick were her stripes.
Seriously, I may have asked 25 questions. Can I just say that I don’t always expect to get a response when I send bloggers emails? I know we are all busy bees and it is hard to respond to every email that comes through your inbox. But, Darci, WAS THE NICEST blogger EVER! Not only did she respond and answer EVERY question I asked her…she even sent me links on helpful websites to use when painting stripes.
I love becoming connected to bloggers who are willing to share their great ideas and techniques! If you want to see more of her gorgeous nursery pictures just hop on over to her site by clicking HERE!
Thanks Darci! You ROCK!

Hey there!!
SO FUNNY! I had a lot of comments on this post today [which was written/published two + weeks ago], so I looked at my # of blog hits today and it was CRAZY! I knew someone had to have linked to my blog on theirs!
Thanks for the shout out! And you are so very welcome —- I did the exact same thing you did as far as searching and searching for the “right” look and perfect gray, so I’m so glad I could help out! Hopefully it saves a lot of others some time.
Can’t wait to see photos of his nursery!!
xoxo!
