Most of you know that P Man has been on and off sick for a few months now. He went from NEVER being sick…to being sick NON-STOP.

I wasn’t too concerned with it unti this past time when he was sick. He didn’t eat for 5 1/2 straight days. Literally. Nothing. He had some water and apple juice, but absolutely refused to eat food. He complained his tummy was hurting him and he cried out in pain a few nights.

It wasn’t his “normal” way of acting when he was sick.

Luckily, after having his blood work done today just to verify that it wasn’t anything more serious, we got great news! The only thing that showed up was just a viral infection.

Praise the Lord!

I have been worried about him for weeks. He was losing weight and I had almost convinced myself that something could be wrong. I am so thankful that after today I can feel at ease about it!

He did a wonderful job today too when he had to get his blood drawn. I was so proud of how brave he was! He was a little “iffy” walking in…

but while we waited to be called back….

…he chilled with his “friends”. Otherwise known as CG, Chippey, and Bear Bear. All three who took part in the “blood shot” as P called it.

The nurse gave him another little stuffed animal when he was done, which seriously made his day.  He said to me “Just what my friends needed…another friend.”

And mommy had a GIANT size Kit-Kat waiting. I know how to reward my boy! 🙂
