Oh the pumpkin patch. It gets more interesting every year.
Mostly because it used to be all cute….like – “Look at my sweet boys with the pumpkins” and now it’s all like – “PLEASE DON’T THROW PUMPKINS AT EACH OTHER!!”
SJ nearly rearranged the entire pumpkin patch this year.
Picking up pumpkins, moving em’ across the yard, and then repeat…repeat…repeat. I’m pretty sure we were not the pumpkin patch owners favorite customers. But hey, you can’t please everyone, right?
Plus, we showed up with SEVEN boys. That’s a lot of pumpkin patch madness.
I got off that hayride with hay in my underwear. How on earth does that stuff get everywhere? Besides the fact that a certain 4 year old was throwing it at everyone…I have no idea. Ahem.
We let each of the boys pick out two pumpkins to take home.
Parker only wanted one – he’s my minimalist. Bents wanted two baby pumpkins – he’s my little rule follower. And SJ screamed bloody murder because he couldn’t take home THIRTY pumpkins – he’s my non-understanding toddler.
I have never done the corn maze, but this year…I braved it. And it was everything I thought it would be. Awful. Awful. Awful.
Seriously, three moms, seven kids and one husband running through corn, trying not to lose kids. It’s what my nightmares are made of. Thankfully my husband navigated us out. And we somehow managed not to lose a kid. #winning
One of my favorite parts about this time of year is looking back at the previous years photos and comparing. Here’s a flash back from 2008 until now!
Our little family isn’t quite as little as it used to be! And hopefully next year it will be even bigger!

New follower here!
Looks like y’all had so much fun.
Boys, right?! I had my girl first. My boy is now 15 months old. I’m already getting a taste. He was dropping huge pumpkins off the pallets and rolling them around and then trying to CLIMB up the piles of them! 😐
